48-hour fermented, stone-ground flour, and a crust that sings. Our hearth breads are the backbone of the cafe.
Buttery Pastries
Laminated dough, French butter, and patient folding. Our croissants and danishes are worth the early queue.

Single-origin beans, roasted locally. Espresso pulled fresh, pour-overs rotated weekly, and oat milk always on hand.

Charlie's Cafe started with a simple idea: bread this good should be free to enjoy without pretension. We opened our doors on Folsom Street with a deck oven, a coffee machine, and a commitment to showing up early every single day.
Today we're still doing exactly that — fermenting dough overnight, pulling shots at dawn, and greeting regulars by name. The Mission shaped us, and we're proud to feed it back.
